Here is a little ditty I did for the NorCal site. It includes some info on inflammation and the Gary Taubes video for the Stevens Institute of Technology.

Thanks this was helpful, I have been sleeping like crap lately and was wondering what was up. Back to eating like a normal person, so tonight should be better.
Hi Robb,
I’ve been meaning to ask you about holiday eating actually, nice timing! My family and I are traveling to Italy on the 16th and I was hoping you could help me with some nutrition tips for travelling. I have decided to allow myself one (on average) carb dominant meal a day. Some ideas I have come up with so far are:
-take a teaspoon(?) of cinammon with each meal
-take fish oil before each meal
-get food with decent amounts of protein
-go heavy on the olive oil (I especially like this one!)
-take R-isomer alpha lipolic acid with meals
-and if time permits do a workout before the carb meal.
So is there anything you’d add?
Cheers,
Ed
Ed-#1 priority is HAVE FUN!! That said I think your plan is solid, keep that cinnamon to 1/4 tsp/day. That seems to be about the top end of the therapeutic dose.
Can you please briefly explain the therapeutic benefits of cinnamon?

I used google for that
Hey Robb,
Have you ever looked at the work of T Colin Campbell at Cornell? He wrote a book called the China Study about how eating meat is bad for you.
I don’t want to ask you to do extra work, just wondering if you had already looked at his research.

Sabin-
Yes, I’m familiar with his work, in fact we sponsored a debate between Campbell and Loren Cordain.
I have a lot of respect for the work Campbell has done but he was completely out-classed in this exchange and he took the route of all loosing debaters:Personal attacks on Cordain.
I’m going to expand on this in a front page post.
